My name is Tara, and I am a passionate educator who loves to help young learners thrive.

I am currently registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.I have six years of experience teaching a wide range of students across Foundation to Grade 6. I have sound literacy and numeracy content knowledge, and my teaching approach aligns with Victorian Curriculum standards and various learning styles. As an experienced primary teacher, I have honed my skills in delivering quality education to young learners. I have a deep understanding of the diverse learning needs of primary school children, which I am confident will translate well into providing effective 1:1 support to your child as their tutor. I am passionate about helping students to reach their full potential. I have experience working with students from language backgrounds other than English, as well as students with disabilities and additional learning needs. I am particularly proficient in teaching Early Years Literacy and Maths (Foundation – Grade 2). My interpersonal skills are my strength and I will endeavour to develop your child’s resilience and growth mindset. My goals for every student I work with are to make learning fun and engaging, ignite their curiosity, and promote skill growth in a compassionate setting.
