  • How can I become a tutor on Fly Learner?

    It’s super easy to become a tutor on Fly Learner! You can click here to sign up to Fly Learner and start completing your profile.

    In order to be eligible to tutor on Fly Learner, you must be a current accredited teacher in your state or territory and hold a valid Working with Children Check. Prior to being able to accept bookings, you must verify your identity by uploading a copy of an identification document and a valid Working with Children Check.

  • Fly Learner is a tutoring platform where there is no minimum number of hours required. As a tutor, you can choose how often you tutor your students, so the tutoring always works around your schedule.

    Fly Learner is completely flexible and allows you to determine whether you want to tutor a lot, or just a little!

  • In order to schedule a lesson with a student you must ensure that you have updated your availabilities in your tutor profile. Once you have done this, a student can reach out to discuss with you their exact tutoring needs. Once a student has decided they wish to proceed with your tutoring service, they can book a session by accessing your profile!

  • Yes! As a tutor, you are able to set your own hourly rate for your services.

    If you offer any packages to your students, you can also set your own bulk rates as well.

  • Once you have successfully completed a tutoring session with your student, you will be able to withdraw funds held in your account. Currently, Fly Learner supports payments via PayPal, Payoneer or a direct bank transfer. Simply select your preferred option and request a withdrawal of your funds – it’s that easy!

  • Fly Learner gets paid a small commission from the amount you charge your students.

  • If a tutor decides to offer their students online tutoring, tutors must have a reliable internet connection and access to an online conferencing system such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet.

  • Yes, of course! If you currently tutor students or a student asks for a referral for another tutor, you can recommend that the student(s) sign up to Fly Learner by clicking here. When students sign up to Fly Learner and start obtaining lessons from you, those students are able to leave you feedback and give you a rating which allows you to improve your credibility and increase the chances of obtaining further bookings in the future.
