Hello everyone,

My name is Lorraine and I have been a high school Maths Teacher for 16 years. I  have taught all stage levels from year 7 – 12. I work with a wide variety of students to improve their confidence in Maths and I believe this is what will make you successful! (Well this and lots of skills 🙂 ) 

One of the key aspects of my teaching philosophy is a focus on student centered learning. I believe that each student has their own learning style and pace. One to one provisions enables students to develop a sense of confidence in their learning. Getting to know students allows me to identify and address any misconceptions or gaps in their understanding. It also helps me to provide extra support to students who may be struggling or falling behind, and challenge those who need additional enrichment.
