My name is John, (BEd/BSc, UNSW). I am a Mathematics Teacher with over 10.5 years experience. In that time, I have taught from Year 7 -12 with a specialty in the senior mathematics syllabuses with students achieving Band 6’s and E4’s across all disciplines of the HSC. My students have found success with my teaching style, with some earning top marks in the high 90s, top marks being 99. I am also passionate in educating those who do not have academic excellence in mind, but who just wish to improve their skills.

I have taught all over the state, including country and coastal NSW through to the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. I have learned and taught within the NSW Syllabus and know the inner workings of the system well. During that time I have worked for a private company writing and reviewing examinations to ensure it meets HSC standards. My unique style of teaching and tutoring through comprehensive booklets and skeleton notes have enhanced my students learning and understanding.

I am a young and personable tutor with nearly 15 years experience and have found a home within online learning as an accessible medium for my students. I pride myself on being engaging through an online platform and honest with my students and their parents. I have always wanted to be a teacher since leaving school and I look forward to bringing fun, passion and education to your child.

My prices are for one on one tutoring, however, there are reductions for group sessions, with multiple students able to get a full tutoring experience with the added benefits of collaborative learning and rich conversations between all parties.
