Hi! My name is Aoife Fanning. I am a secondary school Maths and Science (Biology) teacher from Ireland with 4 years teaching experience. I hold a Professional Master of Education (PME) and a Bachelor of Science (with Education) degree, specializing in Biology and Mathematics, both from the National University of Ireland, Maynooth. I have 4 years teaching experience across schools in Ireland, the United Arab Emirates and Australia. I have been teaching in Sydney for the past 6 months. Prior to relocating to Sydney, I taught in a secondary school in Wexford, Ireland, where I had the opportunity to teach both Junior Cycle (Years 7-10) and Senior Cycle (Years 11&12) Science and Mathematics classes. My teaching experience also extends to the United Arab Emirates, where I spent two and a half years teaching Science and Maths at an international school. I believe that learning should be engaging and I use various teaching methods and strategies to make my students’ lessons interactive and fun. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve their academic goals and take pride in their success.
