I have twins in Year 10. My son is also dyslexic. We moved to Australia in 2019. They are both eligible to do ESL for HSC. We are waiting for the school to confirm if they will offer ESL in school. My daughter scores average marks in English while my son scores below average. Through these sessions, am hoping we can help them score better in Year 11 and 12. They both are very good in Maths and Science, in fact they are in gifted and talented class for Maths and Science and usually top their class. We are looking for help so that their ATAR is not pulled down due to English. My son is also yet to clear his HSC minimum standards in writing. He is about to give his 3rd attempt next week.
