Hi, I’m Steph! I’m a qualified science and math teacher, who loves tutoring students. Making learning enjoyable is my passion, and I believe in creating an environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes. I focus on teaching strong study habits, enabling students to improve their grades and excel academically in the long run.

With more than a decade of tutoring experience and 6 years spent in the classroom, I’ve had the opportunity to work in diverse educational settings. This has allowed me to tailor my teaching approach to meet the unique needs of each student. I’ve worked with a range of students, including those who are neurodiverse with ADHD and autism, helping them build confidence and solid foundations in math and science.

Connecting with students on a personal level is one of my favourite aspects of tutoring. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere that fosters self-confidence alongside academic growth. My goal goes beyond simply teaching concepts; I want to empower students to believe in themselves and recognize their potential for success.

Although I’ve taught students of many ages, my true passion lies with high schoolers. Supporting them during this critical stage of their academic journey is incredibly fulfilling. I aim not just to convey knowledge in math and science, but to spark a genuine interest in learning that lasts a lifetime. I’m eager to bring my experience and enthusiasm to tutoring, where I’m dedicated to ensuring students thrive academically and cultivate a lifelong love of learning.
