A brief introduction
I have 35 years teaching experience in mathematics from year 7 to year 12 in Queensland. I also have experience in tutoring year 5 and 6 students in mathematics. Therefore, I can tutor students from year 5-10 across Australia and year 11 and 12 General and Essential Maths in Queensland.
My main focus is for my students to improve their confidence and ability in mathematics. Sometimes, students are stuck because they are missing understanding of core fundamental concepts. Think of it like a pyramid with a wide base. If there are gaps in that base then the pyramid is very unsturdy, meaning further learning is almost impossible. I will help the student fill those gaps in their math knowledge, so that their pyramid becomes sturdy and then their skills and grades will improve.
